What Survivor at Home Is All About

At its heart, Survivor at Home is built on three core values:

1. Making Time for Fun

We know that many people don ’t get enough time for play and fun in their lives, especially as they get older. Cue Survivor at Home!

This two-night event is designed to be immersive, hilarious, surprising, and genuinely fun - full of moments you’ll remember and talk about long after it’s over. Year after year, we hear from players about the gift of having a weekend of fun for themselves, and we hope this will be your experience too!

2. Offering a True Survivor Experience

We pour hundreds of hours into planning each season because we want players to feel like they’re stepping into a real Survivor experience.

You can expect:

  • Fun challenges

  • Alliances and social strategy

  • Scheming

  • Idol hunts

  • Tribal Councils

  • Big moves

  • Blindsides

  • And the unpredictable chaos that makes Survivor what it is

A note on the intensity: While Survivor at Home is a lot of fun, it’s also genuinely intense. Many past players have told us they were surprised by how serious the strategy, decisions, and competition felt once the game began.

3. Prioritizing Community

Although the experience of playing is incredible, the people and community are what matter most.

From casting onward, we’re intentional about bringing together people who are fun, kind, competitive, and respectful—because the experience is better when the people matter as much as the gameplay.

And this focus continues long after the final votes are read; many players form genuine friendships, staying connected through the Survivor at Home Discord, talking about the show each week, joining the Survivor at Home podcast as guest hosts, and even traveling to play in our live events.

There’s no expectation that you stay involved afterward. But if you want to invest, there’s a place for you here.

What We’re Looking For in Players

Given everything above, we hope you will:

  • play hard and bring everything you’ve got; we do not want you to hold back from trying to win

  • be yourself - quirky, strategic, loud, quiet, thoughtful, chaotic; whatever your version of “you” is!

  • balance competitiveness with kindness, respect, and a sense of fun

  • hold the tension of: “I want to win… but I want to be a good human while trying.”

your commitment

As a contestant, you will be playing for two nights, 7pm-3am EST.

Even if you are voted out early, you must stay to the very end of both nights, no matter what.

Once voted out, you will be asked to join a separate video chat on your second device (Exile Island!), where you will be able to talk with other voted-out players; at the same time, you must still watch the main event on your computer, to keep up to speed with what’s happening in the game.

But there is good news!

Voted-out players will have more engagement than ever before, including the opportunity to play in many of the challenges, in an effort to thwart the plans of others still in the game.

And there are whispers of Redemption, with opportunities for players to win their way back into the competition!

So come ready to experience all the emotions of this beautiful game, and no matter what happens, never give up!
